ABOUT US

Our heritage runs deep, through two centuries in North America, and farther back to the German Reformation.  We started out in America as a small German church, but we have expanded our walls and outreach over the years.  The name of our congregation has changed several times in our history as well.  Yet, through all the changes, we honor the heritage given us in the faith of the historic Church, expressed in the ancient creeds and reclaimed later in the basic insights of the Protestant Reformers.  We seek to be faithful to God, our Father and Creator, to Jesus Christ, our Lord and only Savior, and to the Holy Spirit, and to the Bible as our ultimate authority for faith and practice.  We are welcoming to new ideas of how our congregation may experience health and growth to transform our world through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
